Wondering why in the last three weeks or so, we tried to call a pickup order in and it was well before closing time only to find out they're closed even though their web page said they were open. We've been huge fans of Huntington Diner for awhile now but this is extremely poor service. I can understand an emergency but it's been 3 or 4 times now we wanted to eat there and found out they'd close. Please address this issue quickly and don't fall into the list of bad restaurants in Huntington. We definitely want to continue patronizing your establishment. Thank ahead of time for fixing this problem.
This was a great little stop for the beginning of a day trip. The food was delicious. The pancakes were our favorite.
We are visiting from out of state and watching 4 grandkids while parents resolved medical issues. We have eaten at a number of non-chain restaurants in the Huntington area and this place has our vote for best. Service was friendly and efficient. We had a range of food and it was all well prepared and presented. I had a delicious western omelette and kids meals (cheeseburger, spaghetti, and salad bar ) were given thumbs up. Definitely will be going back.
Been going there since they first opened get carryout all the time their omelettes are amazing and their pancakes are one of my faves I usually get the biscuits and gravy . But I love their patty melts too. Staff is always friendly. Food is always good
My family and I order take out at least once a month from The Huntington Diner. The broasted chicken is absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned and juicy. The hashbrowns with onions are the best of any restaurant in Huntington. The New York strip is one of the best steak dinner I have had from a restaurant. So tender it can be cut with a fork. The mashed potatoes are made from real potatoes(not instant). The broccoli is perfectly steamed and very flavorful. The green beans are perfectly balanced with onion and bacon. The portion sizes are very generous.
I got a 1/2 b&g, fried potatoes, 2 OE and extra gravy, it was absolutely the best meal I’ve had out of all. Biscuits were light and fluffy and the eggs were absolutely cooked to perfection
Great food at a great price. This last visit, we had dinner. On a previous visit, we had brunch. Both times, we were very satisfied with the portions, quality of the food, and the price. It is our newfound favorite spot when we go to Huntington.
This locally owned joint is exactly what Huntington needed. Great brunch food at fantastic prices. Portions are huge as well (5 egg omelettes?!). We will be back.
